Mr. Collier offered a resolution inquiring into the expediency of exempting Justices of the Peace from military duty. Agreed to. The appeal from the decision of the Chair, taken on Saturday last, was next called up. The Chair declared the present session a continuance of the last, which elicited a long debate. The matter was finally referred to a joint committee, and the Senate adjourned.
