The following is from the Washington correspondent of the Newolumn towards the Upper Potomac, with a view of crossing over into Maryland at some Point just below the Point of Rocks. They expect to find ection than at any other location, and to be enabled to throw into Maryland a sufficient force to form a nucleus for its Secessionists, and ind Edwards' Ferry, awaiting an opportunity to force a crossing into Maryland, and willing to take the charges there of an insurrection of the mhington between two rebel armies. In the meantime hundreds of Maryland Secessionists are gathering upon the eastern shore, for the purposmselves of the riches of the splendid agricultural district of Western Maryland, or fall back at least upon the Rappshannock.
