Much excitement prevails in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence county, New York, regarding the expected rebel raids from Canada. Business there was suspended on Thursday, and the citizens were preparing for defence. A large number of armed men, supposed to be rebels, are on the islands in the St. Lawrence river above and below Ogdensburg, and some suspicious persons were arrested in the town on Thursday.
