Bad name.
--A young man who gave his name as Francis P. Blair, son of the notorious F. P. Blair, of Missouri, appeared before the Mayor yesterday to answer the charge of stealing a coat and other clothing, valued at $100, from John Taylor.
The prisoner, it is said, deserted the Yankee army at Chancellorsville, being disgusted with the Abolition service, and proposed to join that of the South.
He expects to prove his innocence when his examination takes place, which was postponed yesterday because of the absence of witlessness.
