A dispatch from Gallipolis, Ohio, (a town on the river,) dated the 7th, says that telegraphic connection with the Kanawha Valley beyond Point Pleasant (in Mason county, Va.,) is broken. It adds: The rebel Jenkins is encamped to-night at Buffalo with 1,500 men. About 2,000 more is expected to join him to night. The enemy is stripping the country of all the horses in it.
