Of evil name, &c. --A young female, calling herself Emma Marsh, a resident of Mulberry Grove, Cary street, was arraigned for being a person of evil name, fame, &c., and indulging in horseback exercise on one of the public streets of the city in company with a person said to be a Lieutenant in the army, to the disgust of decent people, and against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth. There was no dodging the issue, as the Mayor happened to be an eye witness to the capers cut by the parties. Miss Emma went to jail under a demand for $150 security to keep the peace.
