A noble example.
--A lady in Georgia, Miss. Henrietta Kenan, has waited on Gov. Brown, and in the name of herself and her mother, tendered to him, for the use of the State in conducting the war, all the silver plate of every description, watches, &c., amounting, in the aggregate, to a handsome sum.
