Suicides. --Mr. George Gore, an old and much respected resident of Reisterstown, Baltimore county, Md., committed suicide a few days ago, by shooting himself in the presence of his family. The act was superinduced, it is thought, by grief at the recent loss of his wife, who died from injuries received by falling over a chair. Capt. Joseph David, of Factory District, St. Mary's county, Md., committed suicide on Monday last, by drowning himself in a creek near his residence.

Burnt to Death. --An elderly lady named Sarah Jarboe, who lived alone, in St. Mary's county, Md., was so severely burnt on Saturday night week, that she died the succeeding day.
