ne was forming. I was shortly ordered to move by the flank further up the railroad, where a position was taken that was not assailed on this day. I had gone into the fight with three hundred and twenty muskets, a portion of my command being on detached service. Nineteen men were killed, including Capt. Ferguson, of company I.
