ased Surgeon: Dr. Fox, of this city, a Surgeon in the army, arrived in the city yesterday, direct from Richmond, where he was held a prisoner, having been captured on the Monday morning following the battle at Savage's Station. He had been stationed at the White House, of which Dr. Watson was in charge. About the 30th of June word was sent to leave the White House and proceed to Savage's Station.--Seven Surgeons and about fifty nurses were left at the White House, at the request of Dr. Tripler, Surgeon of the Potomac. On his arrival at Savage's Station he found a large number of wounded there, who had previously arrived. He was kept very busy attending to them until late at night.--On the following morning the battle of Savage's Station took place, in front of the hospital, which increased the number of patients considerably, and furnished the Surgeons with plenty of employment. On the following (Monday) morning, all those at the Station, including the Surgeons, &c., were ta
