Getting a breakfast. --A letter from Chambersburg, Pa., (June 11,) to the Philadelphia Ledger, says: "Two companies of the Second Pennsylvania Regiment came into town early this morning, and took possession of the breakfast table at the Franklin House. After eating all they wanted, they left their names at the clerk's desk, thanked Mr. Truath, the landlord, for his kindness, said they hoped their Colonel would pay the bill, and withdrew in a very orderly manner. In conversation with some of the men, we were informed that two shoulders, a flitch, and a barrel of crackers, were all the provision the regiment had had since Monday morning, and this was the cause of their singular performance."
