ntire unanimity prevailed in the election of Mr. Turell; which is another proof of the pacific and upox. Aug. 7, 1730: Catechism day, Friday, Mr. Turell preached a sermon to the children, after he achers many good men arrayed themselves, and Mr. Turell among the rest. He published, 1742, a pamph in other men's dioceses. In this pamphlet, Mr. Turell names thirteen particulars; or, in other wors in order, and, in many of them, demolishes Mr. Turell's conclusions; while, in others, he is mastered by superior force. Where Mr. Turell objects to ministers preaching without notes, Mr. Croswell awakened in some quarters. On this account, Mr. Turell, on the next Sunday, preached the two sermon15: total, 165. May 18, 1774: Voted that Mr. Turell should lave three hundred pounds (old tenor)ometimes found in very unpromising places.
