Suicide.
--A young man named Wm. Underwood arrived at New York recently, with his wife, from Milwaukee, and hired apartments.
On Saturday morning he went out and purchased a six-barrelled revolver, with which he returned to his apartment, and, in the presence of his wife, blew his brains out. The coroner's investigation developed the fact that he had until recently, been a prosperous merchant in Milwaukee, but that reverses in business there induced him to try his fortunes in New York.
His troubles, unfortunately, led him to the intoxicating cup, and from that to the suicide's grave the transition was fearfully short.
