A Behan was brought up for sawing down Miss Valentine' fence. She had him arrested on Thursday evening for an assault. Both were admonished to keep clear of each other, and discharged. Behan (a Deutsche) went away grinning, believing it was a "big thing" --a good joke on Valentine. Josepe was retained to be examined before a board of magistrates.
