[for the Richmond Dispatch.] complimentary resolutions to Brig. Gen. Ewell. Camp near Union Mills, November 6, 1861. At a meeting of the officers of the sixth Alabama Regiment, held on the evening of the sixth instant, for the purpose of considering the removal of Brigadier General Ewell from the command of this brigade, on motion Col. J. J. Seibels was called to the Chair and Lieut. D. B. Waddell appointed Secretary. The Chairman, after explaining the object of the meeting, appointed a committee of three, composed of the following named officers, to wit: Capt. J. F. Waddell, Capt. Walter H. Weems, and Capt. S. G.
