Charge of Arson. --Edmond, slave of Jacob Keek, was arrested by special constable Wm. S. Wade, of Henrico county, yesterday, and carried before Justice Waldrop, charged with burning the house of D. W. Heath, in said county. The accused was committed to the county jail for further trial.
Postponed. --The examination of Alfred Winston, charged with shooting Mrs. Elizabeth Lucas, of Henrico, which was to have taken place yesterday, has been postponed till Saturday morning next, at 10 o'clock. The examination will take place at Wm. S. Wade & Co.'s office, near the corner of Franklin and Governor sts.
