Accident. --A youth, named James C. Norwood, while sliding on the ice on Main street, near Twenty- first, on Saturday afternoon, fell down and broke one of his legs. He was taken to his mother's residence, near by, where Dr. Robert S. Walker attended him and reset the limb. Yesterday evening the wounded boy was improving.
Accident. --In the upper market, yesterday morning, Mrs. Maria Kenner slipped up on the ice, and, falling heavily to the pavement, dislocated her arm, besides severely injuring herself otherwise. She had to be taken home by her friends, where Dr. Robert S. Walker, who happened to be near by, ministered to her sufferings.
We are indebted to the courtesy of Mr. Walker, of the post office, for furnishing us with the Southern papers in advance of the general distribution.
