From Fredericksburg. We were permitted on yesterday to see a letter from the suburbs of the ancient "burg," bearing date of the 10th, which stated that Mrs. Smock, an aged lady, of some 65 or 70 years of age, and Mrs. Groodwin, aged about 50, together with Messrs. Peter F. Cox and Wm. B. Waller, the one 50, the other about 60, had been arrested, charged with giving aid and comfort to the enemy by harboring their pickets. The letter further stated that the enemy had made but little headway out of the place; the aforesaid arrests having been made by a "dash" of cavalry. The headquarters of General Patrick, the General commanding at Fredericksburg, have been taken in the private part of the Farmers' Bank of that place. There have been as yet no arrests in the town.
