Ware, Nathaniel A. -1854
author; born near Abbeville, S. C., Aug. 16, 1780; taught school; studied law and practised; removed to Natchez, Miss., where he became major of militia and secretary of the territorial government.
He removed to Philadelphia, and later to Cincinnati; travelled extensively, making a study of botany, geography, and natural science; and wrote Views of the federal Constitution; Notes on political Economy, as applicable to the United States, etc. He died in Galveston, Tex., in 1854.
