Important will case.
--At the recent term of the Circuit Court of Roanoke county, Va., a will case of considerable importance was decided.
The Salem Register says:
This was an important and highly interesting suit, in which the will of Chileon O. White, deceased, was contested by the Rev. Andrew McDowell and others.
Mr. McDowell is from the county of Hanover and married a sister of C. O. White.
The amount of property involved is between forty and fifty thousand dollars. The counsel in favor of the will were Messrs. Edmundson and Blair, Watts and Allen, J. B. I. Logan and Colonel Winfield, of Bedford.
Those for the contestants, C. G. Griswold, of Richmond, Col. Jno. T. Anderson, of Botetourt, and F. J. Ribble, of Roanoke.
After able arguments on both sides, the jury borough in a verdict establishing the will.

--Judge Allen and others presiding.--Petition of Alex. Nott and others for a supersedeas to judgment of Circuit Court of Richmond, on March 2d, 1861, in favor of Stephen Putney and Wm. K. Watts, having been heard and to sidered, it is adjudged that the judgment mentioned therein is plainly right.
Writ dented.
Jones' ex'or vs. Chas. F. Osborne and others, appeal from judgment of Circuit Court of Richmond.
Partly heard and continued.

Robbery.
--On Friday night some light fingered persons entered the store-room of Mr. Samuel Patney's house, (occupied by Mr. Wm. K. Watts,) on Marshall, between 10th and 11th streets, and removed all of the stock of family stores, including bacon, sugar, lard, coffee, flour, &c. The store room was located in the basement, and the thieves must have worked industriously, as they removed nearly $2,000 worth of plunder from the house.
