Daring robbery. --A merchant of this city was relieved on Wednesday night, about 8 o'clock, in this city, of a considerable sum of money, in the following manner: The party alluded to, Mr. Geo. A. Weed, living on North Main street, a few doors above the City Hotel, was returning from the Post-Office, when he was accosted by three well dressed individuals, who he found sitting on his front steps.
