The monuments of Howard, and of Cooke and Whitney, are among the last on this Avenue. We copy the inscription of the former, though long, as an interesting illustration of a class of family memorials of a similar description:-- We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. For thime sarcophagus shows the familiar and ancient name of Cheever.
