The Confederate loan. --The Macon Citizen says: Col. John B. Lamar, of this city, subscribes 600 bales of cotton to this loan, Benj. Locket 800 bales, T. R. Bloom 50, and L. N. Whittle one half his cotton crop, whatever it may be. The planters, generally, will go into this movement as the safest and best in vestment they can make, besides contributing "material aid" to the Government in its hour of need.
