From Kentucky. landing of Federals near Eddyville — their subsequent defeat by the Confederates. Nashville, Oct. 28. --Two Federal gunboats landed on Friday night, fifteen miles below Eddyville, thirty infantry and fifty cavalry, and marched on to Eddyville. The Federals were surrounded by Capt. Wilcoxs company, while at breakfast, on Saturday morning. Our troops fired on the Federals, killing three and wounding several others.--Capt. Wilcox was wounded in the affair.
