The scale of Roguery.
--A negro man, named Cyrus Williams, was observed yesterday by the police offering for sale a new scale beam and weights, and it appearing quite probable that he stole them, he was taken into custody.
He states that he found them on the Central railroad.
If any person has lost his "balance," or any portion thereof, he would do well to call at the Chief of Police office and see the articles taken from Williams.
