Church Extension.
--The Baptists of this city have organized a society for establishing churches in various portions of this city.--Thus far their effort in this direction has been a decided success.
The new interest, under the care of Rev. E. J. Willis, is in a very prosperous condition.
We understand that it is proposed to build a house of worship on Clay street, at a cost of some $20.000. Other denominations are putting forth efforts in this direction, so that soon we may hope to see a nice church in every community.
