From General Wise's command — the losses at Roanoke Island.
Lt. Col. Claiborn, of the Independent North Carolina Regiment, commanded by Col. Green, which was captured on Roanoke Island, arrived here last night.
He left Gen. Wire's camp in Curr s) of the enemy appeared of the month of the Albemarle and Currituck canal, and fired a few cannon shots at the camp of Gen. Wise, then at the bridge a mile or so distant.
