Scalded to death. --On Thursday last, Eliza Shehan, daughter of John Shehan, while dipping " swill " from a vat at Stearns & Co.'s distillery, below Rocketts, lost her balance, and pitching headlong into the hot liquid, was so dreadfully burned that she died of her injuries that night.
