The Kansas troubles. --Gen. Harney gone to the Scene. --Governor Stewart has ordered Brigadier General Frost to hold his brigade, consisting of the First regiment of the Missouri militia, engineer corps, and artillery, in readiness to repair to the Southwest border to repel the invasion of the State by Montgomery's band of outlaws. General Harney left St. Louis, Thursday, for Fort Leavenworth: Warsaw, Mo., Nov. 22.--Judge Williams, United States District Judge of Southern Kansas, arrived in town to-night. A meeting of the citizens was immediately called, and Judge Williams delivered a calm and cool statement of affairs in the Territory. He has been for twenty-nine years a presiding Judge on the borders of civilization. Judge Williams said since Sunday night he had been upon the saddle. he came to warn Missourian of the approaching danger. The Kansas Difficulties. --The different military companies of St. Louis met at their armories Saturday night, when Gen. Frost gave them Gov. Stewart's final orders, which were to proceed at once to the frontier. Several speeches were made by officers. Quite a number of recruits outside of the companies enrolled themselves for the campaign. The brigade, about six hundred strong, left at 10 o'clock Sunday by an extra train to Syracuse, thence to go across the country to the scene of the disturbances.
The Montgomery raid. St. Louis, Nov. 28,--The troops under Gen. Frost are encamped at Smithville to await further information from Fort Scott. They will probably be ordered back, as Harney has unqualified orders to arrest Montgomery.

W. Tomlin, of Hanover county, the sum of $37.39 improperly paid for taxes. On motion, the House adjourned.
