uiry for Flour for export, but in the present unsettled state of monetary affairs holders were not anxious to sell, and shippers were not generally prepared to buy for cash, which were the terms prescribed by the former. Notwithstanding there was nothing done, holders would have been willing to accept a decline of 25 cts. per bbl for cash, but even at this reduced rate there was no disposition to operate. Grain was in larger supply to-day than it has been for some months past, and although Wheat and Corn were wanted for export, still shippers seemed disinclined to go in, the market being so unsettled. The offerings of both were heavy, adding up fully 90 000 bushels, but not one-third of this could be sold even at a decline of 10 cts, for the former, and 5 cts. per bushel for the latter, the market closing heavy for both. In other branches of trade we have no movement to note save in Coffee, which was in more active demand than it has been for some weeks past, but rates are decided
