Taking the veil. --At the Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, at Charleston, on the 21st inst, three young ladies took the white veil--Miss E. Mullins, who took the name of Sister Margaret; Miss M. Jones, who took the name of Sister Mary Vincent; and Miss A. Rutherford, who took the name of Sister Mary. Sister Agatha MacNamara and Sister Helene Marlow also made their solemn vows and received the black veil.
