In the Cavalry service, 3 Colonels, 3 Lieutenant Colonels, 4 Majors, 1 Adjutant, 1 Quartermaster, 1 Quartermaster's Sergeant, 1 Surgeon, 1 Surgeon's Mate, 57 Captains, 136 Lieutenants, 1 Sergeant Major, 38 Buglers and Trumpeters, 184 Sergeants, 168 Corporals, 3,180 Privates. Total commissioned officers 207; total non-commissioned officers, privates and musicians, 3,572. Aggregate 3,779, and five regiments. Artillery service--4 Colonels, 3 Lieutenant Colonels, 2 Majors, 2 Adjutants, 1 Paymaster, 1 Surgeon, 1 Surgeon's Mate, 17 Captains, 39 Lieutenants, 1 Sergeant Major, 1 Qu
