g the use of the Hall to Gen. Duff Green to-night, for an address on the subject of the American Agency. Direct Trade.--Mr. Newton submitted a motion asking leave to withdraw from the files of the House bill No. 509, of last session, on the subject of direct trade with Europe, and that the same be referred to a special committee of seven, to be appointed by the Chair.
