Stabbing. --On Tuesday night last, a difficulty occurred between Orris Harrison and Miles McJordon, in a house on Nicholson street, near the corporation boundary, which terminated in an encounter outside, and McJordon received a severe stab in his rear.--The flow of blood was so profuse as to cause the man to faint, but the wound is not considered dangerous. Harrison was arrested on Wednesday night, at his boarding-house in Rocketts, by watchmen Pleasants and Kelly, but the wounded man being unable to appear at Court yesterday, the Mayor postponed the investigation until Saturday. Harrison has become somewhat notorious for lawlessness since his residence here, and has already passed some time in jail.
