Quick time --The schooner H. B. Metcalf, Captain Burton, sailed from Providence, R. I., on the 3d inst., at six o'clock P. M.--arrived at Norfolk on the 6th--discharged fifty tons of ballast — was loaded with a cargo of 10,300 bushels corn, and arrived in Providence again on Tuesday last, the 12th inst., making the round trip in eight days. Such an instance of quick dispatch is indeed hard to beat.
