The London Telegraph expresses the opinion that the English people have heretofore given too little attention to the politics and policy of the great American nation, and in view of the universal ignorance of its readers, it commences an explanatory essay, with the remark that the trouble now pending in America is occasioned by the desire of Virginia to extend slavery into the States of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Michigan.
