A patriotic mechanic. --S. W. Adkisson, a mechanic, suggests to Gov. Harris, of Tennessee, that all boys and men, from 15 to 60 years of age, be armed and enrolled for the defence of the State. He says he is 58 years old; has three boys over 15 years of age, a few guns, a little lead and powder, and a few thousand dollars, all of which he offers on the altar of patriotism.
