Correspondence of the Richmond Dispatch.cheering News from Caroline county. Sparta,Va., May 7, 1861. Very little having been said in the papers of the feelings entertained, and the action taken in the present crisis, by this old county, it is due to her citizens, that your readers should know she is not behind others in her devotion to the common cause. Five volunteer companies have been, up to this time, formed in this county — the Bowling Green Guards, Captain Quesenberry; the Sparta Grays, Capt. Gouldin; The Caroline Dragoons, Capt. Swann; the Caroline Grays, Capt. Peatross, and a company just organized, and now rapidly preparing for service, the name of which I have not learned. The three first named companies are already in service, and the other two, whenever the call shall be made on them, will promptly respond, "ready, willing and waiting" The patriotism which induced the raising of each of these companies is worthy of all praise, but the circumstances under which
