The troops from remote sections of the country have been pouring in for several days, almost in a continuous stream.
Yesterday a portion of the First Regiment of Louisiana Volunteers reached this city from Richmond at o'clock, and another portion in the afternoon in a special train.
While we were prepared, from what we had heard, to see a fine boby of men, yet their noble appearance and bearing surpassed our most sanguine expectation.
Louisiana indeed sends a gallant set of to the aid of Virginia, and their power will be felt by the Northern hordes when the cooly conflict comes. ?
The "Dinwiddle Greys," numbering 68 fine looking, able-bodied men, reached this city on Thursday night, and will encamp at the Fair Grounds until further orders.
