Drawing a knife. --A moderate quantity of corn juice imbibed on Thursday night by John S. Grant, procured him the pleasure of an unqualified state of drunkenness. While in the latter state he was encountered by Lieut. Kelley, of the Police, who deemed it better for his individual interest that he should be locked up. Grant objected to the proceeding and enforced the same by drawing a knife. He forgot that our soldiers should only use such weapons on their enemies.
