A Northern dispatch from Fortress Monroe, June 14, admits that Maj. Winthrop was killed in the battle at Rothel Church.
The Tory Convention. --A dispatch from Wheeling, June 14, says: In the Western Virginia Convention to-day, Mr. Carlile reported an ordinance vacating the seats of all the State officers now in rebellion to the General Government, and providing for the establishment of a provisional Government, the election of officers, and providing that State, county and municipal officers shall immediately take the oath of allegiance. The ordinance was made the special order for Wednesday next. Five hundred stand of arms from Massachusetts arrived here to-day. Fifteen hundred more are expected to morrow.

In gress and egress by the sea, and a few miles in extent of the James river, are open to us; but no aggressive movements can be made with safety without double the present number of troops and means of transportation

Northern Associated Press: The evacuation of Harper's Ferry. Frederick, June 14 --It is here reported upon the authority of a messenger who arrived heree. The bridge at Shepherdstown was also burnt last night. Washington, June 14. --The War Department is said to have received a dispatch confirning the bridges on the Winchester Railroad were also burned. Williamsport, Md. June 14 --The Shepheidstown bridge was burnt last night by the Secessionists. Tthe troops have moved off in the direction of Martinsburg. Sharpsburg, June 14 --A reliable Virginian, who has arrived here, reports that the Confederated Press has gone to the Ferry to obtain full particulars. Ferderick, June 14 --A resident of this city, who has but just returned from Harper's Ferryo Charlestown and to a point near Leesburg. Another account. Frederick, June 14 --Midnight.--The special agent of the Associated Press has just returned
