Arms for Virginia. --The Alexandria Gazette, of yesterday, has the following dispatch: Washington, Nov. 13.--The State of Virginia has purchased 5,000 stand of arms from the General Government. They left the city to- night in the mail steamer for Richmond.
From California. Fort Kearney, Nov. 13. --The Pony Express, from San Francisco, has arrived. The steamship Uncle Sam sailed from there on the 1st, with $1,802,000 in treasure, for New York. Oregon advices to the 27th ult, are received, but are unimportant. New York, Nov. 14.--The steamer North Star has arrived from Aspinwall with $926,000 in California treasure.
Accident on the Camden and Amboy Railroad. Philadelphia, Nov. 13. --A train on the Camden and Amboy Railroad ran off the track near Burlington, this morning. Three cars were smashed. An employee was slightly injured.
Obituary. Utica, N.Y., Nov. 13. --Hon. H.C. Goodwin, ex-member of Congress from the Madison and Oswego districts, died at Hamilton last night.
