From South Carolina. Monday night's session of the Convention — address of the Commissioners from Alabama and Mississippi--Departure for Charleston — Reception there — Reassembling--Georgia address and Foreign Relations — the city, &c., &c., &c. Columbia, Dec. 17. --The Convention re-assembled in evening sesmittee, with instructions to report thereon. The Chair appointed a Clerk, Messenger and Doorkeeper. Ex-Gov. Adams then introduced the Commissioners from Alabama and Mississippi, who were received with much applause from the galleries. The Commissioner from Alabama spoke first, followed by the Commissioner from MissisAlabama spoke first, followed by the Commissioner from Mississippi. Both made moderate addresses, showing that they were present by the authority of the Governors of their respective States, in accordance with the desire of a majority of their people. The Co-operation movement in Alabama. Mobile, Dec. 18. --The co-operation meeting last night nominated Garland Goode, Wm. D. Dunn, John A. Winston, and Robt. Smith, for the State Convention.
Theatrical --Miss Maggie Mitchell, who has been chaunting the Marseilles at the Montgomery (Ala) theatre, was presented on Friday night with a "Loan Star" flag of Alabama.
North Carolina. Raleigh, Dec. 18. --The bill appropriating $300,000 for arming the State has passed the Senate by a vote of 41 to 3. It comes before the House to-morrow. There is much anxiety regarding Federal relations. The Commissioners from Alabama and Mississippi to North Carolina have arrived here. A Democratic caucus of the Legislature is to be held to-night.
