Negro Hiring, 1861. --The undersigned will continue the above business the ensuing year, and solicits the continued patronage of those friends for whom he now acts, and of the public generally. With the knowledge obtained by several years' experience in this business, he feels assured that he will be enabled to secure good homes and the best prices. Every attention will be given to the welfare of Negroes entrusted to his care, and attached to his office is a comfortable room for the use of those who have not homes in the city. Having been compelled to buy the "entire interest" of his late partner in the concern of Rawlings & Holladay, to secure himself against loss, all of the books and accounts of said concern are with him for settlement.
