The House was called to order at 12 o'clock, M., by Speaker Crutchfield. Prayer by Rev. C. H. Read, of the United Presbyterian Church. A message was received from the Senate announcing the passage of a bill to compensate jurors serving on coroners' inquests in the counties of New Kent, Charles City, James City, York, Warwick and Elizabeth City, and also to the cities of Williamsburg and Norfolk. Read in the House the requisite number of times, and passed. A report was returned adverse to the claim of James Patterson. Bills Reported.--To provide for paying to the Bank of Racine lost coupons for interest on the bonds of the State of Virginia; to provide for the payment to the Richmond branch of the Exchange Bank of lost coupons for interest on the bonds of the State of Virginia; for the relief o
