Delivered up. --Patrick Haley was arrested on Wednesday, by officer Blankinship, for assaulting Lemuel Howard with a cane. Being brought before the Mayor on yesterday, it appeared that he had deserted from the Montgomery Guard. The Mayor was handed, by Lieut. Wm. F. English, a requisition from Col. P. T. Moore, for the delivery of Haley to him, to be taken to Manassas Junction; an order was consequently entered that he be delivered to that officer this morning, when the Central cars stacane. Being brought before the Mayor on yesterday, it appeared that he had deserted from the Montgomery Guard. The Mayor was handed, by Lieut. Wm. F. English, a requisition from Col. P. T. Moore, for the delivery of Haley to him, to be taken to Manassas Junction; an order was consequently entered that he be delivered to that officer this morning, when the Central cars start. In the meantime Haley was allowed to go, in company with a policeman, to pack up his knapsack ready for the journey.
