--A soldier of the 20th (German) Regiment writes to New York that "Dr. Hansen, the principal physician of the regiment, now stationed at Camp Weber, Hampton Ferry, is quartered with the remainder of the staff at Ex-President Tyler's house in that neighborhood.
All the furniture in the house is demolished, excepting three busts in the doctor's room — those of Schiller, Goethe, and Humboldt."
