ch reached the opposite bank of James River, 4½ miles distant. Arrest of Col. Allen--rumor of Gen. Butler's removal. We give the following particulars from tpson, who is now in the Secession army. They even had the assurance to enter Col. Allen's camp and demand the return of some horses which he had seized, belonging toe rebel service. With these horses they were to cart the wheat to Yorktown. Col. Allen immediately refused to give up the horses for that purpose, and dispatched a be in flames, and 20 acres, or thereabouts, were destroyed. This morning Col. Allen was surprised to receive the following from Gen. Butler's headquarters: quarters Dep't of Virginia,Fortress Monroe,June 28, 1861. Special Order.--Col. Allen, commanding 1st Regiment New York Volunteers, is ordered to report himself tor further orders. Charges and specifications for trial will be furnished Col. Allen at the earliest possible moment.
