apt. Howard--the latter commander of the Echols Guard — were killed — and this probably embraces the entire mortality list among the officers. Lieut. Col. Gardiner, formerly Major in the U. S. Army, was severely wounded in the leg. Mr. Avery has kindly furnished us with a correct list of the killed, wounded and missing of the Oglethorpe Light Infantry, which we append.
