Habeas Corpus. --John Quinlan, a prisoner in the city jail, was before Judge Lyons, of the Hustings Court, yesterday, on an application for bail. Quinlan was committed to jail two weeks since, to await an examination on the charge of receiving a lot of leaf tobacco alleged to have been stolen by negroes employed at one of the tobacco warehouses of this city. The application for bail having been argued pro and con before the Judge, was submitted to him and refused. Defendant will be brought before the Hustings Court for examination.
